Kick and Gunther. Beck turns 3

I really slacked this year on Beck's birthday. I was going to celebrate his big, special day in California, but at the last minute I decided to have family over and do something small before we left. Needless to say, it was pretty pathetic! Sorry Beck.

That being said, Beck, just like his first 2 birthdays, was a punk!!! He cried, "No candles, NO cake, NO presents!" He hated the whole thing... Until he opened his presents.
He has been really into Kick Buttowski lately. He tells me all the time that we're BEST FRIENDS, like Kick and Gunther! I secretly love when he tells me that. I think Beck is a kick in the pants. He is saying the funniest things right now. Last night, he wanted a dog. I told him No. He said "Why... That's not fair!" Well Buddy, life is not fair. Better you learn that lesson now!

Here is Beck and I in front of Boo's Door, Monster's Inc. ride.
(forgive me for my shoes, my feet were killing me by the last day of Disneyland)

Beckham L O V E D Disneyland. He was able to meet almost all the characters.
He hugged them and told them, "I Love YOU".

Every morning he would pop right out of bed and ask, "Go to Disneyland?". This kid was hard core. Every morning we would get there by 8 and we would stay all day and most of the night. Even at the hotel Beck was thinking of Disneyland.

Aaron bought him that hat and he wouldn't take it off. He wanted to wear it in the tub.
Beckham wanted to go on every ride. There was one roller coaster that he wasn't tall enough to get on, and he cried and cried. I though he was going to throw up he was crying so hard. He was really showing us how BIG and independent he is. He wanted to walk the whole time and no hands on all the rides.

He was even too cool to use hands on the rock slide!

These 3 musketeers had a BLAST. Rides, Candy, Late nights, and all day parties.
They did not want to go home.
Beck is the youngest and still can't keep up the cousins.
He Zonked out way before the others.
Like I said, even when they weren't riding rides, they were playing games on
the iphones.

California was so much fun. We could have stayed another week,
if only Crosby was with us. We missed him so much.
The 8 hour delay at LAX did not help with that. We wanted to see him!!
Next time Crosby, you'll get to come... PROMISE!

Spring Fever

Beck has a love hate relationship with Crosby. He hates when Crosby looks at him, plays with his toys, or gets held by anyone.
On the other hand, Beck loves to help SHOVE his binki in his mouth, rub the top of his head, and say "I love you, Espy." when he knows someone will think that's cute and tell him what a great Brother he is.
And he is a good Brother.
It was sooo Nice here yesterday. Everyone was out washing cars, cleaning yards, and the kids were going crazy. My little guys were no exception.
We're going to MISS Crosby like CRAZY this week. We are headed to DISNEYLAND!!!
Crosby gets to stay home with his awesome Aunts.
It will be nice to spend time with Beckham but I will always have my BABY BOY CROSBY on my mind. See you in a few days lill fella.
P.S. I expect his Aunts to have Crosby crawling by the time we get back!!

Cowboy Tea Party

Another successful Tea Party.
The Cowboy theme was fun.
Lots of super cool outfits!
For both the kids and adults.

Those are one hot pair of pants!

Grandpa taught all the kids how to rope a horse.
You would think it would be easier when the horse didn't move
but it wasn't.
Grandma got in on the horse barrel races. Although she was no
competition for one little miss Avery J.
That little lady won, hands down!
After the race, we had a relay race, putting on boots, coat and hat.
Girls vs. Boys.
Boys just happened to get lucky and win.
(Beck is like, where is Waldo. Randomly in every pic.)
After all the racing the kids were treated to a day at the spa.
Manicures from Aunt Deena and Mikkel and I did the Pedicures.
The kids drank smoothies from mason jars and lived it up!

The last thing on the list was a hunt for the GOLD.
They went from spot to spot, looking for the good stuff.
Then they found their hobo sacks, filled to the brim
with awesome surprises. The white thing is a
marshmallow gun. Kids LOVED that.

Liked I said earlier, another successful tea party.
Love hanging with all the family, making memories.

Oh, we Also had dinner in tin pie pans and root beer out of
glass bottles.
What was for dinner??
Yummy dutch oven!

Hot Spot

This is a picture of Beck, few weeks before he turned one.
He loved playing in the window,
well, actually he liked the blinds.

I am happy to say that not much has changed, besides the paint color.
Now instead of the blinds, he lines the window with all his trucks
and other toys. He loves it, he plays here forever.

One other thing that has changed is my little boy, he's growing up.
He's getting taller and he has a neck!

I couldn't post a blog without including the younger bro...
Beckham is helping Crosby get in the spirit of this years Tea Party.
COWBOY THEME it is!
Can't wait till Monday(party time).

What happened???

I have paid my time.
I've waited patiently,
I envied all others,
I secretly hoped that my current phone would break.

Well, That time has come.
I have my very own IPHONE!!!

I know it's not as exciting to everyone else
but to me... It's one of the BEST days of my life.

My old dated iBook is no longer compatible with
all new software. Which means I'm back to dreaming,
wishing and waiting, patiently until I can buy
I new desk top mac.

But... something strange happened.

Aaron, who didn't really want the iPhone and Beckham
who stole my phone, have been on them all day!
Beck will not put it down. Literally, all day,
I tried to call someone and he completely freaked out!
This is the look I get when I ask him if I can use my DREAM PHONE.
Who knew it was also his dream phone.

Looks like I have a lot of time to spend with Crosby
because the other 2 boys are busy with their, my, toys.

Someone LOVES Graham Crackers

It should come as no surprise that this big fella loves food.
He is at the point where if I give him a bottle, he's looking around for the
real food. He even gets upset when he sees Beck eating the food he can't

We both love Graham Crackers,
it's the one thing he can feed himself.
Beckham on the other hand...
He has been a handful lately.
Yesterday while I was busy scrubbing toilets.
He was busy in my makeup drawer.

Not only did he spread Creme De Violet (MAC)
all over the walls. He made himself
look real nice!
When I went to yell at him for getting into my makeup
(it happens often)
He kept saying, "Petty Eyes".

I am starting to think with all the high heels and makeup,
I might end up saying, "How did I not know"!!!

6 months in heels

6 months!
Crosby is growing up too fast.
He is the best baby! HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY.
He is always smiling and laughing.
He also gives the best loves. He is so big and mushy,
he cuddles right into you.

At his check up he was weighing in at 24 pounds (off the charts)
and he was 28 1/4 inches.
I feel like I have a one year old.

He is really good at sitting up,
HATES laying on his tummy.
Still can't roll over, to much sitting up I guess!
I can tell he is getting ready to crawl, he's reaching for
things and all he wants to eat is real food.
He gets pretty fired up when you eat in front of him
and not offer him a bite.
(just like his mamma)

Beck is really into dressing himself.
He's not so good at it but he's trying!

He turned his basketball shorts into a mini-skirt
or something a street walker would wear!

One leg on each side, son!
To top it off he only wants to wear these shoes!
This is him after I told him he COULDN'T wear his heels
to the store... DRAMA!
I have to say, he's pretty good in those shoes.
He even likes them with his blue Bball shorts.
Thanks for the shoes Grandma McBride!
