Just Like That

St. George was amazing!
Low 60's which felt like 85 degrees, no wind and SUNNY!
It was everything I was expecting, I LOVE St. George.
We Hiked in Zions.
Beck was a trooper, with help from his Dad, he hiked most
of the hike by himself. He was mad when Aaron had
to pick him up and carry him in the scary parts.

We went on walks.
Ran in the front yard, chased Lizards.

Which Beck liked until they started to move too Fast.

We ate at In-N-Out Burger (twice).
Beck spent all day outside but most of his time was on the deck!

The view from their house is worth
the 8 hour drive. It over looks a golf course and the bluffs
are right behind that.
Sorry picture doesn't do it justice.
We took Beck to the park and he played for at
least an hour. He is an outdoors man for sure.
I was jealous of all the joggers and Bikers. I was wishing we
had taken our road bikes down.
Next time.
I was a little sad leaving.
The thought crossed my mind to send Aaron home with
his parents and Beck and I would stay a few more days.
But we all came home as a family,
just the way we went.
When we got back home the roads no longer had
snow on them and I had high hopes to let go
on another walk today.
Well, Just like that, when we woke up...
IT HAD SNOWED!
Anyone up for a road trip?

Eskimo Kisses

I cannot get enough of this kid. His Kevin Bacon hair and all.

He will do the littlest things and it will melt my heart.
Every night before he goes to bed
Aaron and I will carry him to his room
(because he's not heading back there on his own!)
and one of us will pretend like we can't see him.
He LOVES it.
After we both give him loves and I get ready to lay
him down, little B will grab my face so tightly
and give me Eskimo Kisses!
It's the best part of my day,
he gets in so close, opens his eyes really wide
and just goes to town.
Had I known it is the simple things like this
that makes your parents love you more.
I would have Eskimo Kissed my Mom every night!
Maybe I'll try it next time I see her,
See if she likes it as much as I do!!!

And today, We are heading out to St. George!
No snow, just sun and heat.
I just hope we find our way back.

Reason to PARTY!

GREEN BAY is going to the SUPER BOWL!
To be honest
I really haven't been that loyal of a fan
since I met Aaron.
Not that my love for the Packers faded away,
Aaron just made me aware of how exciting
COLLEGE FOOTBALL can be,
and when BRETT FAVRE left I really needed to find
a new reason to
cheer for the PACKERS.
Sunday, I found all those reasons when they bet the BEARS!
Needless to say, my LOVE is back.
I am looking forward to the SUPER BOWL.
GO PACK GO!

Book or Nook

Is there anything better than holding a paper back book
in your hands while laying in bed.
peaking at the ending, just to make sure
you wont be disappointed!
I would like to believe that I am a purist when it comes to reading
books. I had the conversation with my little sister and Dad
over Christmas and we all decided that we would rather
have the actual book in hand and not
a computer screen.
WELL...
I have been thinking a lot about buying a NookColor.
My justification (because I love to justify my purchases),
It would really be for Beckham!
It would be nice being able to throw the Nook in my
bag and have tons of books for him to read.
I would no longer have to take a diaper bag full
of Children's books everywhere I went.
Just one simple little amazing Nook.
The debate is still going on,
I am torn on what to do,
But to be honest...
I am really starting to want that NookColor!

2011

I can't believe 2010 is OVER!
Time went by so fast.
I guess that is what we always say but it's so true.
There was plenty of times when I wanted to hit the
PAUSE button
and Plenty of other times when I wanted to hit
FAST FORWARD!
Overall, 2010 was pretty amazing.
We meet goals we set last year
which makes me hopeful for the goals I am setting
this year!
1. Have a baby and LOSE WEIGHT! (in that order)
2. Read the Book of Mormon (it's been awhile)
3. Eat healthy (less fast food)
4. Go to DisneyLand (could be tricky with a new baby)
5. Spend as much time with FAMILY as possible (We have great families)
6. Finish our Basement (this has been on the list for awhile)
7. Read more books (I use to read all the time... I miss it)
8. Wear my retainer (my teeth are moving like crazy)
9. Plant flowers in my pots and have them live (last year it was a mess)
10. Enjoy all the sleep I can until the new Baby Comes!
I'll end on 10, it seems to be a good number!
I hope 2011 will be just as good as 2010!
