2 days

It's crazy to think, but it is true,
my sister-in-law and I had babies 2 days apart from each other!
It is going to be a blast to have cousins so close in age.
One little girl, Pyper, and One big fella, Crosby!

Little Pyper was born 2 days before Crosby.
I know it looks like Crosby is 2 months older, but he
is the younger one.

I am sure this is the start of many pictures these two
will have taken together.
Hopefully they'll be the best of friends.

Beck couldn't handle it, he had to be in one of the pictures!
Beck LOVES pictures of himself.

Adjusting

We couldn't wait for little Crosby to be part of our family,
We talked about it for months,
bought diapers, bottles, and made him a warm bed.
We had everything ready so that little peanut
would be comfy and cozy in his new little house.

What we didn't do is think about Beck!

My little man, he Adjusted, he loved, he played by himself.
He brought me diapers, he was a big help.

He is now out of his CRIB and into the big boy bed.
He is struggling, he clings to the crib, wanting back in,
He hates going to bed. He cries "WHY!", every night.
He crawls out of bed at least 15 times before he'll fall asleep.

It has drove me batty. I have wanted to rip my hair out, strand by strand.
It just dawned on me...
He's still adjusting. He is finding his place, in his new bed,
and in the family.
I NEED TO RELAX!
Cut the kid some slack.
He's doing great and if he tackles this bed thing
like he tackles his little brother when I'm not looking,
Then he'll get it in no time!

So be patient Beck, I too am ADJUSTING!

Baby Shower

Saturday was my little sister Kristen's baby shower. It was a BLAST.
I have very talented sisters who decorated everything. Cute banners, cupcakes, old vintage toys, books, and since my sister is decorating her baby room in vintage Pooh, there were vintage pooh pictures in frames... Everything was amazing. BUT did I take pictures... NO!
I took pictures of the after party!
Here is the MOM to be with the baby Daddy,
That's right, the after party was on the boat!
My Brother brought his boat and we all pilled on for a good time.

We tried to get Beck in the water but he wasn't havin' it!
He thought about it.
He even got his feet wet
But in the end all he wanted to do was drive the boat.

I had such a good time, I can't wait for the next baby shower!

From Beginning to End

For my birthday a few weeks ago, my best friend Stacey bought me a CD!
A CD? What the CRAP... WHo even has a CD PLAYER?
I laughed, enjoyed the flash back and ran out to my car,
the only CD player I have,
Took 5 minutes to figure out how to load a CD into my 6 disk CD player,
(nothing but the best)
Sat a listened to ADELE 21!
I can't remember the last time I actually listened to a whole
Album from Beginning to End.
I can't get enough of this CD.
My Fave is TRACK 3!
Thanks for the flashback and the awesome DISK, Stacey,
That's why you're my Bestie!

Here are a few pics Crosby.
He is so big already.
This sleeper maybe a 6 months.
Power to the People
and His crazy HAIR

Crosby's Blessing

Sunday we blessed Crosby and I had high hopes
of taken TONS of pictures but with the busy day
fussy kids, and me being too busy bossing Aaron,
I had no time to take pics!
My Sister Deena bought the boys matching ties,
which I LOVED, and they hated.
The whole time at church Beck kept trying to take his off.
I remember growing up and hating when my Mom would
make my sister and I match or buy us the same
stuff... HATED IT.
Sorry boys, it must be what Moms do!
the blessing was great. We had lots of family come
and spend the day with us.
(again, no pics)
I did take a few pictures of the kids
playing in the pool
in their church clothes,
while the parents talked and ate!
It was an awesome day. I truly love spending time
with both our families.
Can't wait until next weekend when we all get
together again!

Just a random Picture of Beck stacking his cars.
He thought it was coolest thing ever.
