Crazy, But O' SO true

It just dawned on me last night when I was putting the boys to bed
after a weekend at my parents house.
We have a crazy tradition!

My family has TONS of traditions and I LOVE them all,
BUT I think this "NEW TRADITION" is my all time FAVE!

It doesn't have to be the holidays, it's just when the family
gets together, we always, let me rephrase that,
my brother Robert, always bets my sister to eat something
or do something crazy.

I believe it all started with eating 20 twinkies in 20 min.
I think she knocked down 13 and pooed cream for weeks.

There was the hamburger challenge. For every hamburger
she ate she would get 15 dollars, keep in mind,
we're not talking about sliders, we are talking Big Jud" style burgers.
3 burgers later, she was walking away with 45 big ones!

Sometimes my mom will step in and get upset.
One time we were going to pay her 100 dollars to shave her head.
with my mom screaming at us, in tears, that one we'll have to visit
at a later date.

I can't remember what the challenge was but one time
Grandma McBride and Aunt Kris stepped in and payed her not
to do the challenge. Can anyone say BOOOOOO!

This Thanksgiving it was 4 slices of cream pie in 15 minutes.
This is at the end of the night when everyone already feels
completely full and disgusting. Also, Mikkel, she's lactose intolerant.

All that she was getting for this one was 30 dollars.
After throwing back her lactose pill, the bet was on!
We thought she was messing with us when she started burping
and gaging. She was making record time and really only had
maybe 1 1/2 pies left.

Her gag reflexes proved to be TOO much, she couldn't hang on.
She ran out the front door and doubled over my Mom's shrubs and..
You guessed it! OUT CAME LOTS AND LOTS OF CREAM PIE!
With some time remaining she was allowed to scoop up the
cream re-eat it and keep going with the one bit she had left
in the pie tin. She just couldn't do it. She called it quits...

We'll have to see what the challenge will be at Christmas.
It will be good because my Sista Mikkel hates to LOSE
and for a month she has to be on a loosing streak!

Traditions are great.

Where's Crosby and window art

I have noticed a few things about Crosby,
more times than not, he will be completely covered by his blanket...
That is if he doesn't have it soaking wet from sucking on it.
He is turning into a good little sleeper,
Well, now that his gas is under control and he no longer
GRUNTS all NIgHT!
Here is a little look at what my little, big, fella looks like now!

I am so lucky that he is such a good baby!
He loves watching Beck and you can tell he wants to be right by his side
getting into trouble!
Here is what Beck has been up to lately.
Coloring on the windows.
I bought the markers yesterday and what
a good purchase. He has been busy all day coloring.
The best part is, if it gets on the wall it wipes right off!
MOTHERS DREAM!

I am not wishing time away, but I am looking forward
to the day when Beck and Crosby run around together
and play outside, riding bikes, throwing a football
(they have to get ready to play at BSU),
and jumping on the tramp.
I LOVE MY BOYS!

Halloween and 4 months

We really made the best of Halloween this year.
Thursday we went Trunk or Treating with my sister Deena
and her kids. Beckham was so cute running from car
to car, almost more excited about the scary stuff
in the trunk instead of the actual candy!
Friday night we went to Boo at the Zoo.
That was FUN! Lights everywhere and the
big blow up decorations, that I vowed I would never
have in MY yard... until Beck or Crosby wants it...
Beckham honestly couldn't get enough. Running around,
yelling trick or treat.
The best is one little boy was dressed up as Buzz Light Year
and Beck about messed his pants.
"BUZZ", he yelled and run up to the boy
and gave him a big hug.
The boy was cute and even shouted, "To infinity and beyond!"
Crosby on the other hand, could have cared less!
Monday night we went to their Grandparents house
for homemade donuts, yes please, we also took
Beck around to a few homes.

Yesterday, Crosby had his 4 month check up.
This kid is a tank!
20 pounds, 27 1/4 inch tall.
He is 98% for height and weight.

He hated his shots but did pretty good most of the day.

He is still slobbering like crazy,
almost getting ready to roll over,
Can sit up for a few min. when I prop him up on his belly!
Laughs and smiles all the time.
Loves to watch his big brother play and
just like his brother, he loves to be part of the action.

He is putting himself to sleep now and sleeps pretty good.
He has the WORST smelling gas and at night has a hard time
farting... lots and lots of grunting that keeps me awake
and I have to roll him on his side because it helps him Fart!!
