2 weeks.. a week late

Crosby is actually a 3 weeks old today but because I am such a slacker,
here are his 2 week check up results.
Height: 22 inches
Weight: 11 pounds
This kid is big!!!

Everyone says he looks nothing like Beck, but sometimes he give me a look
that screams Beckham!
Here is a picture of Beckham, with his baby acne, and it's
true, they don't look a ton alike but there are times
when I can see it. Maybe it's because
I am the Mom.
Since Crosby has been home, I have been fully wrapped up in taking care of him.
He is somewhat of a fussy baby.
Something I am not use to.
So I feel like every time Beck gets attention from me,
it's when he is in trouble.
In fact, he had a friend over the other day
and I heard Beck yelling at him. Just like I yell at him.
It broke my heart. I don't want to always be
Yelling at my kids!
So what did I do... What every COOL Mom
would do.
I bought him a trampoline!

He was so excited! He bounced for hours and he is
turning into a little pro.

I think it's safe to safe this mom will be getting
big LOVES from her BIG Boy for a while.
I LOVE this kid and if he catches onto me
he'll be getting anything and everything he wants!

Crosby and a lot more!

I think I am the worst Mom EVER!
I went to load pictures of Crosby for this post and I really don't have
very many...
A few from the hospital, first bath, cutting cord...
All the gross stuff people take pictures of then wonder
why they took them!

Here is one picture of Beck and Crosby,
Okay more Beck then Crosby but I promise
to snap some pics tomorrow and get them posted!
This past week has been great and busy.
I have had family come and visit which always makes it fun
and my Mom stayed with us until Tuesday which made it
a blast for Beck. She spoiled him to death. That kid got everything
and anything he laid his eyes on.
Needless to say, Grandma is missed at our house.

Here is a pic of Beck and Harper.
Harper is one years old and LOVED the pool.
Beck... well he sat on the side and sipped his drink.
He was trying to catch some rays, through the 50 sunblock!

On the 3rd of July we had our friends Brad and Amy over
to watch Fireworks. My little sister Mikkel put on a fantastic show.

I think Amy was won the best friend award this week,
she came over with a fountain soda and beef stick in hand, just for me!
She knows me so well.
She also is a trooper in holding the baby!

Beck was scared (surprise), even of the lame snakes.
Once we got out the sparklers
he and Sammy had a blast.
Now we are are just trying to figure out our lives
with the 4 of us. It is crazy, exciting, lots of tears and poopie
diapers, with Aaron having this whole week off, it is fun
having a new little one. But I'll keep you posted next week
when I am all alone and I freak out and become extremely overwhelmed!

For now, I am loving being a new mom and having Crosby in our lives.
He entered the world weighing in at 9.11 pounds and 21.5 inches long.
I truly gave birth to a toddler.

Lots of sunscreen

It has been 2 summers now that I have tried to force Beckham into LOVING
the swimming pool.
I just couldn't figure out his obsession with the bathtub
and his hate for the pool.

This year I even bought him a pool with a slide in it...
which he LOVES slides.

Last night I finally figured it out.
This kid likes to go commando!

Shorts on the sideline while he's in the game.

This kid doesn't hate the pool, he hates his clothes
being wet!
Once the shorts came off,
he was all about the pool!
He may never have any friends who want to come over
to swim but I have FINALLY figured out
one of our biggest mysteries!
Is it safe to put sun screen on private parts?

It's the Baby's

It's the BABY'S...
This is something Beckham has been hearing a LOT lately!
Every new thing he finds in his closet ends up being,
THE BABY'S.

Enough is enough for this little guy,
He wasn't going to take this jacket off for anything.

I begged, pleaded, bribed, and even threatened him
to take the jacket off, but he didn't care
he wore the jacket!

He made it work, in fact he worked that jacket,
even in WalMart!
(Aaron wanted to die, he couldn't believe I would
let him wear it to the store.)

When Bread goes bad

Here at the Winder house we have found
a new way to get rid of old, dry bread.
Give it to the ducks!
I am not sure who had more bread the ducks or BECK.
We would had the bread to Beckham to throw
and he would cram it in his mouth!
It was a great way to get rid of bread and feed Beckham.

We're Lovin us some sunshine.
I would love it even more if I didn't have
a built in heating unit. 3 weeks and counting!

Mini Me

When the sun finally came out, the lawn got some attention.
Beckham LOVED helping Aaron fix sprinkler heads,
and I LOVED sitting on the patio with my
extra swollen feet propped up on a chair.

Next week... FLOWER POTS!
Bring on the sunshine!

Counting Down

I have really noticed the extra weight I have put on
with this pregnancy. I can barely keep up with
Beck when we walk around the block.

Everyday, I notice it more and more.
It could be that everyday I eat more and more.

This morning Beck and I went to Sam's Club first thing
to get new tires put on the car.
After hearing it was going to be an hour and a half wait,
Beck and I walked across the parking lot to enjoy
a nice warm breakfast at MCDONALDS!

I should have paid attention to the big sign at the Toy Land
that read, 3-12 years.
Beck climbed in the tube things all the way to the top
and got lost and stuck.... ALL THE WAY UP!
I had to climb in that stupid toy
and save him.
I honestly thought I was going to get stuck!

The only thing I can say is let the count down begin,
Let Crosby get here so I can get rid of the extra large belly,
butt, arms, chin, feet, ankles, and let the swelling go down
A LOT FASTER than it got here!
