Over the top

Every time my nephew Mason comes in town from Denver, he likes to arm wrestle Robert. It is hilarious. Mason is only 12 and he looks like he about 16... Mason is an awesome hockey player and is possibly going to go and play over in Russia. Anyway, this could possible be the last year Robert is actually able to bet Mason in arm wrestling. Robert my want to use Sylvester Stallone's move from Over the Top. Hat turned backwards and finger over the thumb move. When in doubt refer to the 80's!!!

Beckham's baby blessing

Aunt Danette Bought Beckham's blessing outfit... He looks like a little golfer, just like his dad.
Mikkel was excited to be at the blessing!!!!
These two little girls are adorable, I couldn't ask for better nieces... Good work Scott and Lindsey!
                     Our little family
Sunday was an amazing day. Besides the fact that we had to have our families eat dinner in the garage, it's tough trying to fit 50 people into one house! It was the best, I can't remember the last time my whole family was in the same place at the same time!

Beckham your Dad gave you the best blessing on Sunday. All of your family members were there and you could tell how much everyone loves you. I don't think you were put down all day long. The spirit was strong and my testimony of family grew even more. I only hope that I can be the type of Mom you can look up to and that you can talk to about things in your life. Your Dad and I both love you so much and hope the best for you.

After Beckham's blessing we all headed to Blackfoot for a B-day party for my aunt Kris. She is an amazing lady. Her whole life has been spent taking care of everyone else. A complete life of selfless acts. I look up to her a lot. Sunday was a day of family and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Rub a dub dub

This little duck tub has saved me! It was so hard trying to bath Becks in the tub. He was so slippery and hard to hold onto. In this little duck he can sit all by himself and he loves it. He will sit and play in the water until his little toes turn wrinkly and who doesn't love the smell of a fresh out of the tub baby!

I'm trying to enjoy every new thing with this little man because it seems to be going so fast. I worked all day Monday and Tuesday, when I got him home Tuesday night I swear he was bigger and I had missed out on seeing him grow.

I love you Beckham and I hope you never get sick of me kissing your chubby little cheeks!

The face of thrush

Poor Beckham.... When I dropped Beckham off at Deena's house yesterday she asked me what was on his tongue... I thought it was milk, which was really dumb of me because it wouldn't wipe off and it had been there all day, it's not like my breast milk is pasty or sticky. Anyway, she tells me it's thrush!!! It is a good thing this kid goes to someone else everyone once in awhile or who knows how long I would have thought he had milk on his taste buds!

The Doctor said for him to take this stuff over the counter called Gentian Violet for 3 days and if it doesn't clear up he will have to go see the Dr. The stuff stains his mouth purple and makes him look goth. I didn't taste it but by the look on B's face when I wiped it on his tongue, it's probably pretty nasty!

Thank you Deena for Diagnosing my son and saving me from what could have been a complete mess. I think we caught it early so it should clear soon!

Bring it on

I guess I have complained long enough about being fat. Aaron picked up the Wii active for me and I have started the 30 day challenge. So for it is a ton of squats, lungs, and jumping. I must say it is pretty fun and it logs your workouts and gives you rewards for your accomplishments. I do need my ego stroked for finishing workouts so this is perfect for me. I am on week number 2 and I don't plan on missing a workout because I don't want my Wii trainer to yell at me.

I also have to thank my brother Robert and his wife Kristi for letting me use their jogging stroller. It was my last excuse why I wasn't running. They gave it to me on Saturday and I ran Yesterday. I made it half a mile and had to walk for a couple of minutes but I finished strong. By that I mean I finished. I went again today, even in the rain. I made it a little over a mile before I stopped and said hello to my sister in-law Lindsey. It was a much needed break. Beckham and I barely made it home before the rain started really coming down...

So thank you to everyone who is helping me with my obesity!!! I am well on my way to finish my 30 day challenge.

Party Time

My youngest sister Kalli graduated from high school last weekend so of course it gave us an excuse to all get together and party. I love when my family can all come together. There is always food and some sort of crazy competition. This time we played some game where you try and throw a washer in a box and if it lands inside of it you get points, the first team to 11 wins. It was fun and I am not sure who thought of it. Here is a few pics of the family enjoying the game and being outside.

For some of our family it was their first time seeing Beckham, so sorry Kalli, I didn't mean for him to still some of your thunder. He had so much attention all day from his cousins, Aunts, Uncles and of course Grandparents.  Little miss Avery J kept saying that Beckham was her baby, which is fitting because she also has a huge crush on Aaron. The last couple of pictures were taken by Avery. I think she will have a bright future in photography!
